Aroostook Renewable Energy Analysis

In early 2009, a Renewable Energy Working Group was formed to take a closer look at Aroostook's renewable energy resources with the intent of identifying opportunities for expanding, or creating, renewable energy initiatives in the region.  More than forty individuals, representing as many companies or organizations, met over the next eighteen months to review, debate and identify those sectors that offered to build regional jobs and retain wealth in the energy sector.  The results of those discussions were summarized in the Mobilize Northern Maine Energy Report and can be viewed or downloaded by clicking the link.
